In recent weeks, SCCA has met with a wide range of lawyers, legal advisers, and arbitrators in Riyadh, Abu Dhabi, and Dubai to gather their views on the draft of the new rules, thus reinforcing the commonalities between SCCA and stakeholders and enhancing its ties to the arbitration and legal environment locally and regionally.

The survey of opinions on SCCA rules comes as SCCA prepares to the launch the new version after its Advisory Committee, which includes top international arbitration experts from Saudi Arabia and around the world, finished drafting the rules in accordance with the latest international standards and arbitration industry practices.
