He is a seasoned counsel, arbitrator, and mediator with over 25 years of experience in international and domestic arbitration across sectors such as energy, construction, and banking.
As the sole India-based member of ICC FraudNet, he has managed sensitive investigations and restructurings and serves as an independent director and mentor to startups.
He has participated in key investment treaty arbitrations, published papers, and contributed to law reform while teaching in India and Japan. Currently, he coordinates the UNCITRAL National Coordination Committee for India and chairs the UNCITRAL Sub Committee of LAWASIA.
He is involved with organizations like FIAA (Geneva) and BIICL ITF (London), and co-founded Aarna Law and Simha ADR.
