Under the patronage of H.H. Prince Faisal bin Farhan, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Saudi Arabia, the Saudi Center for Commercial Arbitration (SCCA), in partnership with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, will organize the 1st Ministry of Foreign Affairs Forum on World Law Day. Held annually on 13 September, World Law Day promotes legal awareness and emphasizes the importance of law in individual and societal life, its role in achieving justice, safeguarding rights, and upholding the rule of law. 

 

This joint event will highlight recent developments in Saudi Arabia’s dispute resolution ecosystem and their impact on enhancing the Kingdom’s international soft power. 

 

The forum will be attended by senior legal officials from both the public and private sectors, alongside a select group of legal practitioners, law and Shari’a faculty members, and students from Saudi universities. 

 

The program includes expert sessions covering key topics such as: 


    • Immunity: The Principle and Its Evolution; the Role of Commercial Dispute Resolution in Promoting the Rule of Law. 
    • Developments in the Kingdom’s Dispute Resolution Framework and Their Impact on Strengthening Its International Soft Power.
